Echants / Gear enhancements
Even though this is meanth to be the cheaper outfit there are some enchants that you may wish to concider if you end up staying for awhile anyway - of if a friendly person is leveling enchanting it's nice to know what to ask for.
For bracers & gloves you will want strength - while agility migth be tempting strength offers twice the punch.
As far as weapon enchants go the procc based ones wont work for druids and stat based ones tend to be horribly expensive - so remeber the cheaper alternative; [Iron Counterweight], It's still a 4.95% increase in white damage and an attack speed faster than 1 is very annoying to casters.
Item details
Some of you migth wonder about the [Parachute Cloak], thing is it's eligble for outlands enchants - and even with powerleveling engineering and the enchant your likely to find it much cheaper than the [Tigerstrike Mantle], which atleast on my server goes for arround ~300g.
Ofcourse you loose 7 stamina, but gain 8 agility ( best agility enchant the tigerstrike cape can get is +3 agi, where as the parachute can get +12 )
Alternative Items
Above I've listed the items I concider best depending on wether you want to enchant or not, below here I've listed the best items for feral druids in this span - so you can pick and choose
On some servers the prices on especially shoulder and head leather for this span have risen well above sanity - in such cases you may want to keep you level 19 gear, or if you just leveled to this span as fast as possible then check out the level 19 guide to fill in the gaps while you wait for the marked to realise that nobody wants to pay 150g for a level 28 "of the whatever" shoulder
Head
There arent any remarkable head pices for this span, but a few bears mention;
[Spirit Hunter Headdress] - quest reward, horde only
[Whisperwind Headdress] - drops off Earthcaller Halmgar in Razorfen Kraul. Though this is not really a feral item by any strech of the imagination you will have to heal from time to time - and every little edge helps.
Still I'd swing by the auction house and try to pick up a "green" bind on equip hat of the monkey/tiger/strength/agility instead.
WoWhead list of head pices
Neck
Shoulders
What appiles for head pices also holds here, BoE pices off the acuction house - there are a few insanely expensive ones like
[Forest Tracker Epaulets], [Mantle of Thieves] and [Watchman Pauldrons]
But for the price tag that usualy go with them 80-150g the greens certainly arent that much worse, so my advice would be to grab either a [Cutthroat's Mantle] or [Infiltrator Shoulders] with some stat combo that supplemtents your gear nicely
As BoE items with just the rigth combo of stats migth be hard to come by you may want to keep your [Serpent's Shoulders] arround for a while longer.
Back
see "Item details" above for the two best items, if both of those are out of your reach you migth want to concider [Wolfmaster Cape] which is actually not a bad item
Chest
All other interesting leather chests for this span are random property BoE's check your auction house.
Wrists
[Bands of Serra'kis] - Drops off Old Serra'kis in Blackfathom Deeps
[Black Wolf Bracers] - If your going low on on health this may be a viable alternative.
[Barbaric Bracers] - Crafted, you can either make them your self or find them on the auction house.
Weapons
[Manual Crowd Pummeler] - hands down the best weapon for this span.
Some people migth argue for [Skullbreaker] since it can be enchanted with level 35+ enchants, but unless you plan on getting it for healign it just aint worth it, and the Crowd Pummeler will beat it hands down if enchanted with the old world +25 agi
Hands
Here there are two options - depending on your enchanting budget, getting the outlands enchant +15 str or not
[Dog Training Gloves] - Was boosted in 2.3, drops in SM/cath from the optional boss Houndsmaster
[Tiger Hunter Gloves] - Though at first theese seem worse than the dog training gloves they can recive the +15 str enchant, making them the logical choise. The quest takes place in STV tho, so you and your group/nanny needs to beware of gankers.
[Naga Battle Gloves] - Lady Sarevess in Blackfathom Deeps
Waist
Dont waste too much energy chasing down dreamy belts, you will replace it with the AB belt anyway, however till you get there [Deftkin Belt] is a very nice "slot filler"
Legs
There are actually quite a few very good leggings available to this span, how ever thanks to the leg armor kits none of them can compete with even green boe's, so in the following I've split the pants into two categories - pants for kitting, and plain pants
Pants that cannot get the leg armor kit on them;
[Triprunner Dungarees] - Before The Burning Crusade theese pants were damn near legendary for the level you could get them, they are still good - just not that good anymore. (Catform AP:24)
[Ferine Leggings] - Theese pants makes my soul weep that they cannot get the leg armor, they recived a MAJOR boost in patch 2.3.They drop off the "pig boss" in Razorfen Kraul, see link for details. (Catform AP:37)
Pants that cannot get the leg armor kit on them;
[Petrolspill Leggings] - The best BoE pants for this span
[Troll's Bane Leggings] - Not really worse, you loose 20 hp and gain 4 spirit...
[Cutthroat's Pants] - of the agility/power/strength/tiger other than a bit of stamina (4 or 6) theese arent that far behind the two above, a wise man saves money here *grin*
Now although the leg armors seems horribly expensive it's well justtified since the stat boost is somewhere between 50-100% of the rest of your gear. But ofcourse if you dont plan to stay in the span that long you migth well skip it.
Feet
[Warsong Boots] - you can get theese at level 22 and they are great for leveling and means you can spend tokens on upgrading other items first. The quest is soloable at 22 except for the oil is an item standing in the middle of some 26+ demons.
Rings
[Silverlaine's Family Seal] - from the dining room in SFK
Trinkets
Tallents
Feral Combat (13 points)
5/5 Ferocity
3/3 Feral Instinct
2/2 Brutal Impact
2/2 Feral Swiftness
1/1 Feral Charge
Restoration (5 points)
5/5 Furor
Now this leaves you with 2 points to spare, depending on what you want to do the following tallents should be concidered
1/1 Nature's Grasp (flag runner)
1/4 Improved Nature's Grasp(flag runner)
1-2/3 Sharpened Claws ( healer killer )
1-2/3 Natural Shapeshifter ( allround / flag carrier )
Personally I think 1/1 Nature's Grasp and 1/3 Natural Shapeshifter it the best allround combo, but those 4% extra crit sure does look nice.
