While this patch brings many a change there are a few that are worth noting for twinks:

• Weightstones and Sharpening Stones: The bonus damage from these temporary enchantments now works while shapeshifted.
• Bloody Brass Knuckles, Eerie Stable Lantern, Baelog's Shortbow, and Snakeskin Bag have been upgraded to Superior items.
• Gagsprocket in Ratchet now sells the plans for the Minor Recombobulator.
• Players can now opt out of looting for
  group loot, round robin and need before greed looting styles. If a
  player turns this on, they will not get a looting turn in the loot
  cycle. This can be turned on from the right-click menu on your own
  portrait.

None of the populare databases have the 2.4 version for the updated versions, but It seems resonable to assume that the Brass Knuckles will become soulbound when they transform from white to blue. Atleast that happened when the Tail spike from the wailing cavers became blue.


Comfirmation from the PTR:

so they will become BoP, wonder what will happen if I were to stick some in the guildbank


Though it's outside the usual realm for this site there is one more item that should please druids/paladin twinks - or the 39 ones atleast


Notting worldstopping but a nice free trinket for alchmists

While it may look like I'm slacking off and not transferring the old content to the new site that is not the case. I'm still tweaking the looks of the site so I'm keeping the number of articles down for now - so there will be less to change If I do some major markup changes.

A good friend suggested that I add Tabs to the articles to give a better overview, and the more I think about it the more I like the idea - I just have to figure out the practicalities of it *grin*

So you will have to use the old site for a while longer.

I've also made the "transparent paper" texture a couple of tones darker so that the rarity colors of items does not make it unreadable.. at least that was the idea, you may have to force a reload (ctrl+F5) to see the change

A while back I postulated that it is no longer possible to "enchant" other people's shoulder pices, there was how ever some debate as to weather it would be possible to do it on a set of "white" quality shoulders. The discussion was backed up by a level 19 twink with a scryer inscription on his white shoulders - I've always suspected that those shoulders were simply the only ones he could get his hands on, but some people we stubbornly claimin that it migth stil be possible to to enchant items that could not be soulbound...

Hopefully to lay the discussion to rest once and for all, here is the proof that white items will be come soulbound;




As you can see I also choose shoulders I could not my self use - and still they become soulbound. note: this also applies to enchanting white rings...

And if anybody starts to suggest that it migth work with grey items I'll smack them silly

testing the "powered by wowhead" stuff, I've had to modify it some to suite my needs, amongst other things a pure image link would prevent the tooltip from showing.

I've also made a few backend tricks using the xml function from the site, such as auto coloring links [Talisman of the Horde] [Insignia of the Horde] [Ogre Mauler's Badge] and showing complete outfits;

I'm slowly migrating to the new layout, thought this as of yet unopened section about world of warcraft would be a nice place to start.

It will mostly detail how / what gear to get while leveling / having fun in bgs.
